This project was designed to provide a safe and accessible pathway leading to the Sullivan Bridge walkway. Spanning over 295 feet in length, the pathway follows a steady incline, supported by a Redi-Rock® retaining wall system that ranges in height from ground level up to 15 feet.
The structure incorporates a combination of retaining and freestanding elements for both stability and aesthetics, including:
- 639 Retaining Blocks
- 145 Freestanding Blocks
- 75 6″ Cap Blocks
- 5 Freestanding Corner Blocks
In total, the wall system weighs approximately 1,138,329 pounds, underscoring the scale and durability of the installation.
